Elaine Jess

Elaine qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Touche Ross (now Deloitte) in 1981. Upon qualifying she specialised in corporate tax work. In 1983 she joined Gary Corbett and formed Milner & Co which eventually merged into Milner Boardman Limited. In addition to being the Audit Compliance Partner Elaine advises a wide range of owner managed businesses on corporate and personal taxation and accounting matters. 

Her key specialities are in the travel and media sectors where she has assisted many successful businesses from formation through to disposal/succession. Elaine has the distinction of being the only Partner who has no interest whatsoever in football. She divides her time between her offshore home in the Isle of Man and Manchester. Her main loves are reading and walking her dog around the beautiful Manx coast.
