Richard is both a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor. He began his career in general practice with Baker Tilly where he was involved in advising owner managed businesses on a wide range of issues.
After qualification, Richard moved on to Deloitte & Touche in Manchester where he spent a number of years as a Corporate Tax Manager providing corporate tax advisory services to a number of UK listed plcs and larger owner managed businesses.
Richard joined Milner Boardman in June 2007 as a Manager to provide corporate tax planning expertise to the rapidly growing practice.
Outside of work Richard is a keen rugby player during the winter months and cricket player during the summer. He is married to Camilla and his wife recently gave birth to a baby girl.
