Tony Collier
Tony joined the profession in 1973 and trained in a progressive general practice in Altrincham. Having been born and bred in Altrincham he has an intimate knowledge of and passion for the South Manchester area hence his involvement with the Altrincham & Sale Chamber of Commerce Tony looks after a wide range of SME’s and has a particular specialisation in the property sectors, both property investment and development/speculation. Tony’s particular skills are in the area of tax planning where his solutions have helped clients save substantial amounts of tax. A qualified Independent Financial Adviser, Tony is also Chairman of our associated financial services business.
As Managing Director of the firm Tony leads the development and introduction of new products and added value services with the aim of ensuring that we can provide solutions for all our clients needs, helping them to maximise profit whilst paying as little tax as possible!
Tony's other interest's are mainly to do with family and sport. Two adult children at University keeps him working hard! He is a keen local league table tennis player but in recent years has become a passionate runner (pictured exiting the “Bog of Doom” at the 2007 Hell Run) and member of Styal Running Club. Tony has linked his passion for running with the firms commitment to Community Commitment and in October 2007 ran his first marathon at the age of 50, raising several thousand pounds for The Childrens Adventure Farm . He is also an ardent follower of Manchester United (which makes for interesting partners meetings).
